A colt of the rising star McLaren out of the dam line of the Grand Prix dressage horses Arthur, Wilton 11 and Zorro
McLaren is by the Oldenburg champion stallion Morricone out of a daughter of Sir Donnerhall I. During his KWPN performance test in Ermelo in 2020 he achieved 83,50 with, among other things, 9/10 for rideability and attitude. At the age of 4 he was a finalist in the Pavo Cup. Under the saddle of his regular rider Dinja van Liere, he won the KWPN stallion competition in classes L and M. The stallion has already distinguished himself several times this year during international Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I competitions.
Urbaldie G’s dam line goes back to Olympia-W, a Contango daughter who, in combination with Jazz, produced no fewer than three Grand Prix dressage horses, namely Arthur (with whom Jill Irving claimed several Grand Prix victories in the USA and Canada), the approved stallion Wilton 11 (who is successful in the USA) and Zorro (CDI4*). Olympia-W is also the dam of three PSG/Intermediate I horses and the granddam of the approved dressage stallion Asgard’s Ibiza.
