Colored Foal Auction October 2024

Chantilly D’orchidéa Z

Chepetto ZMetys

Chantilly d’Orchidéa is a filly that combines two rare color genes: the tobiano gene and the silver gene. Her sire, Chepetto Z, is a young silver-coated stallion who will begin his competitive training in show jumping at 5 years old. Strong with an impeccable build, he carries the blood of H&M Chilli Willy, the son of Casall and Caletta VIII, the daughter of Lord, a stallion who performed very well in 1.40m show jumping and 3* eventing. Chepetto’s dam, Priscilla Z, is from a cross between Pablo van Berkenbroeck and the Belgian stallion Codexco, bringing in the bloodlines of Thoroughbred Cottage Son XX and Près du Feu XX, combined with the mare La Bruyère, dam of Indigene de Corday (1.60m show jumping). Chantilly’s dam, Kenia, is a daughter of the Polish stallion Metys, from Thoroughbred and sport horse lines. Kenia has produced several indexed horses in France, such as Cadillac Muzzy, daughter of l’Arc de Triomphe, indexed ISO 122 and ICC 126 in France; Evydence des Brochards by Canturo, ISO 111 in France; and Affinity Muzzy, first valued in show jumping then used for breeding. Kenia produces practical, easy horses, excelling in both show jumping and amateur eventing.
