The five-year-old gelding Oerendhard has already competed in 1.00m courses and offers his rider a very comfortable feeling. With his well-uphill build, he has a great rideability and reminds many of his grandsire Berlin. Sire is Harley VDL, who performed at 1.55m level himself and passes on a lot of quality to his offspring. His dam Larthago (1.50m level) gave four 1.60m Grand Prix horses, including the approved stallions Casago and Dimitri. Oerendhard’s dam, sired by the successful Nations Cup stallion Berlin, is a full sister to the 1.45m level showjumping horse Sberla. She is also a half-sister to the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Twitch S, who has competed with various riders such as Juan Carlos Garcia, Kevin Staut and Mario Piasecki. Twitch S has already produced four international offspring jumping at 1.40m and 1.45m level. Granddam Nataskia (Concorde x Gondolier) jumped up to 1.35m level and is a half-sister of the 1.50m level horse Dalme S (also known as Hippo’s Esprit de Lancom), who was ridden by Gerald Geessink.
