The three-year-old Alonso AVW Z was three months under saddle at the time of the video day and was already easy to ride. He is a great amateur horse with good balance and not too much blood. He has a lovely uphill build, offering great comfort while riding. While he was a bit reserved over jumps, this will improve as he gains more experience. Sire Avenger Z is an eight-year-old son of Aganix du Seigneur and shares a dam with the Zangersheide stallion Dominator 2000 Z (1.70m Grand Prix with Christian Ahlmann). Their dam Cephale 2000, who performed at 1.40m level, has produced seven approved stallions. Dam Gipsy Lady SMH (Arezzo VDL) is a KWPN elite mare who has jumped 1.40m courses. Her five-year-old daughter Oilily Lady SMH competes at 1.20m level. Granddam Beau Lady SMH (Tygo) is also an elite mare with 1.40m experience. She produced Ibeau SMH, a 1.45m level horse with Joy Lammers and now at 1.40m level with Mona Relander.
