VDL Morning Star is a son of Carrera crossed with the mare Watch Me B, who is the mother to Ibiza – the Grand Prix horse ridden by Jenny Rankin. Ibiza was sold in a previous edition of the WEF Sport Horse Auction. VDL Morning Star is very good to ride with a well balanced cater. He jumps with good reflex, good technique and has all the scope you could desire. VDL Morning Star has a bright future and could potentially be your next Grand Prix horse. Sire: Carrera VDL has lived up to the high expectations placed on him with multiple Grand Prix victories under Jur Vrieling and is now making a significant impact in breeding. He has already produced successful offspring such as Greatest Boy, Jup, Komboy, Good Farming HS, and Imar. Dam: Dam Watch Me B, has already produced two internationally successful offspring: Ibiza, who competes with Jenny Ranking in the 1.55m-classes and was runner-up in the Nations Cup final in Warsaw last autumn, and Diamond JWB, who is performing at 1.40m-level. Watch Me B herself is a half-sister to the Grand Prix stallion Zapatero VDL, ridden by Jessica Kürten. Damline: Granddam Manieta is a half-sister to the 1.45m-level showjumpers Orlando, Nicky, and Trouble Maker. Other closely related family members such as Joviaal ES, Lorenzo ES, Zarvil, Djoel, Fendi, Jay Jay ES, Ilyon ES, Janieta P, Curprice, and Discovery have all performed at a minimum of 1.45m-level.
