The brown gelding, Zagros, is a full brother to Zoolaboo, who won the German Holsteiner Association’s riding test for 4-year-old horses with an overall score of 8.1, including impressive scores of 9 for trot and 8.5 for walk! Subsequently, Zoolaboo was sold for a remarkable €165,000 at the Holsteiner auction to Austrian rider Nicola Ahorner.
Zagros’ mother is the state premium mare, Warthburg, who is also the dam of the international showjumper, Fatum (Fragonard XX). From the same mare line, several international sport horses and approved stallions have emerged, including the notable Comme Il Faut.
