Red Rum is a AES licensed son of the prolific Dutch sire Carrera VDL who combines the blood of Cardento and the Olympic Gold Medallist Baloubet du Rouet. Interestingly his dam jumped 1.50m herself and is the half sister of Tinka’s Boy. Given his exceptional genetics its unsurprising that Carrera VDL has a become a leading sires in his age group with offspring competing up to 1.70m level. First Buresco, the dam of Red Rum, jumped up to 1.40m while her mother ,U Bresco Z, who was placed in the 1.60m GPs with Marriet Smit-Hoekstra. U Bresco is also the sister of Foot Loose MFS who also jumped at 1.60m level. This horse is sold with VAT.
