Contero DVA is a sportily built colt out of Contagio x Quintero Z.
The offspring of dam Cienna DV are characterized by their suppleness and technique. They are good moving horses with a good gallop.
Half brother of Contero, Cousto DVA Z, was sold via the YouHorse Auction to Russia and came meanwhile back to a Belgian rider. At the moment Cousto is active in the young horse classes and certainly stands out.
On the sire’s side Contero is a descendant of Contagio.
Every week the offspring of this beautiful grey jumps all over the world at the most prestigious international competitions. Contagio Z is a very efficient showjumping horse sire and is praised by riders for his willingness to work. All his offspring are easy to ride, have sufficient blood, the modern type of their sire and a fantastic front leg. Contagio Z is an absolute asset to modern sport horse breeding and was successful himself under Gerrit Nieberg. The duo won the GP of Frankfurt, the Nations Cup of Denmark and amassed an impressive record of achievements.
