At the age of three, Garetto displayed undeniable talent, earning 90 points for scope and an overall score of 85 points for free jumping, alongside 85 for conformation, which secured her the regional championship title and an invitation for the Dutch Mare Championship (NMK). Now, her eldest offspring Laretto (s.Adagio de Talma), competing at 1.55m level at eight years old with Sander Geerink, is proving Garetto’s value as a broodmare. Laretto is now among the promising talents of Willem Greve. Garetto’s dam Wilma, produced the internationally 1.40m level ranked Double Deuce Retto and this successful damline traces back to the international 1.50m level performing mare Wilma, who was ridden by Jeroen Dubbeldam. Wilma’s notable offspring include the 1.60m level showjumping mare Meatloaf, who in turn produced five international showjumpers, such as Wout-Jan van der Schans’s 1.60m Grand Prix horse P-Pilot. Garetto is in foal to the stallion Sambucci de Muze.
