Melandri VDP’s pedigree is notable for three consecutive mares who have all performed well in sport. Her dam, Utah V, competed in the national Big Tour classes with Petty van Dijk-Vos and has already produced the ZZ-Licht (4th level) dressage horse Kessel VDP (s.De Niro), as well as the regional chamion mare and national mare championship finalist Provini VDP (s.King Karim, IBOP 81.5). Granddam Objection V competed at ZZ-Licht level and produced the ZZ-Zwaar (5th level) horse Watch Me V (s.Flemmingh). The lineage continues with the ZZ-Zwaar competing mare Kristel. She has foaled the Small Tour horse Uhway V (s.Norway) and is listed as the granddam of Small Tour horses Elegance V and Kansas VDP. Melandri’s sire, the successful Small Tour stallion Ferdeaux, has produced successful offspring like Las Vegas, Jerveaux, Lacrosse RS2 and Jim, and continues his career in Canada. Melandri is in foal to Obsession Taonga.
