The 3-yr-old Very Special du Landelijn immediately catches out attention with his good hindleg technique over the fence. That is why he develops scope easily.
Sire I’m Special de Muze, 1.50m level showjumping himself, is genetically very impressively bred as son of the Olympic showjumping stallion Emerald van ’t Ruytershof out of the top-class mare Walnut de Muze. The first eleven offspring have already broken through at 1.55m to 1.60m level.
Dam Anouska Z is a Zangersheide registered mare by Artos Z (1.60m Grand Prix) with three offspring at international 1.40m to 1.45m level: Ardzsenta, Stracciatella Z and Flying High de la Riviere.
Grandam Ganeffa Z (Graf Gotthard Z) jumped 1.30m courses and supplied the stallion Roebel Z (1.50m level), but is even more famous as daughter of the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Heureka Z, ridden by Hermann Schridde (GER).
Nice to mention: Heureka Z was one of the best showjumping horses in the world in her time with victories in Aachen, Wenen, Amsterdam, Brussel and Geneve. In 1970 she was sold to Leon Melchior, who was also very successful with her before she was used for breeding. She supplied, amongst others, the stallions Ahorn Z and Goliath Z and stands at base of numerous 1.60m Grand Prix horses, including the legendary Ratina Z.
