Amica Negra is a direct daughter of the international 1.50m-classified mare Black Berry, ridden by Laurie Bucci. Her granddam A Tempi also produced the international 1.55m horse Play 2 (by Pavarotti van de Helle), ridden by Sabrina Rhyner, and is the foundation mare of the 1.55m-classified Casamigos (by Cornet Obolensky), ridden by Diego Alejandro Bedoya Yanez. This is also the dam line of 1.60m horses such as Fidelio 126, Desiree, and Lauristan 2. This Westphalian-bred mare descends from Arpeggio, a renowned supplier of Grand Prix horses, just like the 1.60m horses Alex, All Inclusive NRW, and Appagino 2. In the second generation, she carries the valuable genes of the influential sire Balou du Rouet, further enhancing her pedigree. For the upcoming season, Amica Negra is in foal to Contagio, adding even more potential for top-level offspring. Several foals from this exceptional mare have been sold for high prices at the Flanders Foal Auction, underscoring the quality and desirability of her lineage. With an eye to the future, Amica Negra is a solid investment for breeders and sport enthusiasts seeking to capitalize on her proven genetics and consistent production of high-performing offspring. In foal to Contagio.
