VDL Icarronne has been successfully competing on international 1.50m-level with Eric and Maikel van der Vleuten, showcasing an impressive track record and earning her place as one of the highlights of this collection. Icarronne is horse that can be competitive in all Junior, Young rider, U25, High Amateur, National Grand Prix and International Grand Prix Level! Sire: Carrera VDL has fulfilled high expectations with multiple Grand Prix victories under Jur Vrieling and is now leaving his mark as a top sire. His offspring include successful top-level competitors such as Greatest Boy, Jup, Komboy, Good Farming HS, and Imar. Dam: Dam Elordonne-S competed up to 1.40m-level and is a full sister to the international 1.60m-level horse Loyd, with whom Alessandra Reich participated in the European Championships in Riesenbeck in 2021 and secured a fourth-place finish in the Grand Prix of CSI3* Herzlake. Elordonne-S is also a sibling to the international 1.45m-level horse Dyonne-S, ridden by Giulia Martinengo Marquet. Damline: VDL Icarronne is the first of four consecutive mares in this damline who competed at a minimum of 1.30m-level in the sport, highlighting the exceptional quality and competitive spirit of the horses from this lineage. In the third generation, this line traces back to a half-sister of the renowned Grand Prix showjumper Virtual Village It’s Otto, who achieved great success with Geoff Billington in the 1990s, including participation in the Atlanta Olympics and the WEG in Rome.
