VDL Noberto is a 6 year old gelding by Norway de la Lande. This very modern looking young horse is built to be successful. His great uphill athletic canter has very good reach and he is good to ride. He jumps with a very good technique, very good use of the body and is very quick from the ground. At the jump, he shows a lot of scope and reach. VDL Noberto is a potential Grand Prix horse. Sire: The French stallion Norway de la Lande has showcased his abilities up to international 1.50m-level under Franck Schillewaert and has proven to be an excellent sire. His offspring competing at the highest level include Arome, A La Miss de Busseol, Valentine Belmaniere, and Elioth de la Lande. Norway de la Lande was bred from the same dam as the successful Grand Prix stallion Valmy de la Lande (Jack Whitaker). Dam: Dam Valerie is sired by the renowned breeding stallion Valentino, whose progeny, including Vittorio 8, Vitiki, Vancouver Dreams, and Valut 2, have excelled at the highest levels. Valerie is herself a half-sister to the international 1.55m-level performing Carracio 2 (ridden by Lara-Marie Juraske). Damline: From this Hanoverian damline originate various accomplished showjumpers, including the 1.40m- and 1.45m-level jumping horses Electric Socks, Electric Ernst and Pan Am.
