A daughter by the Olympiad stallion Ermitage Kalone out of the coveted damline of Qerly Chin
The sire of this filly, the 10-year-old Ermitage Kalone, won the Belgian showjumping championship for seniors in a masterly way last year. This year again he showed his exceptional showjumping qualities and limitless scope, including during the 5* GP in Madrid and Rotterdam, in which he ranked 3rd and 5th respectively. His strong results earned him a ticket to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris, where – considering his age – he performed very well, good for an individual 20th place in the final.
Her great-granddam, Gazelle de la Pomme, produced several successful showjumpers, including the 3* 1m60 GP horse Kentucky de la Pomme and the 4* GP horse Chatel de la Pomme. Gazelle’s dam, Sauterelle de la Pomme, jumped at international five-star level and is known as the dam of, among others, the approved stallion Vagabond de la Pomme (with whom Pénélope Leprevost was particularly successful for years in the 5* 1m60 circuit) and Naturelle VH Legitahof (in 2021 team gold and individual 2nd at the European Championship for Juniors, in 2022 and 2023 respectively team gold and team silver at the European Championship for Young Riders). Sauterelle is in turn a daughter of the legendary 5* GP mare Narcotique de Muze II.
