The 5.5-year-old Ellie van de Eyckenhoeve had been under saddle for four months during the video day and has already gained some show experience at 80cm level. A horse with blood, she is careful and jumps quickly off the ground. Sire El Barone 111 Z was already an extreme showjumping talent from a very young age. He jumped at 1.60m level and he was retired from the sport this year to serve in breeding. His offspring seems very promising. Dam Idylle de l’Ecyer is by the top sire Kashmir Van Schuttershof (1.60m GP) and is a half-sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix horse Quarco de Kerambars, ridden by Carine Gagliani (BEL). Both are from Melpomene (Skippy II), the aunt of Nina Droeshout (1.60m Grand Prix with Jody Bosteels, BEL).
