The six-year-old Nepal is a showjumping horse with plenty of blood, a quick takeoff, carefulness and scope. Nepal has show experience at 1.20m level. The Grand Prix stallion Carrera VDL is bred very interestingly as son of Cardento VDL out of the 1.50m level showjumping mare Vantiels Esprit (Baloubet du Rouet), the half-sister of Markus Fuchs’ famous stallion Tinka’s Boy. Already, eight of his offspring have reached the 1.60m Grand Prix level, with Greatest Boy-H even at 1.70m level. Nepal’s dam Ullandra (Odermus R x Corland x Wellington) has also produced the 1.35m level showjumping horses Bolandro and Malibu. Granddam Pelandra is the dam of Buckhorst (1.45m) and Florus (1.35m) and comes from the same lineage as the 1.60m Grand Prix mare Melandra, ridden by Daniel Etter.
