What a jumper this one will be! The five-year-old Opaal Key SR boasts unlimited scope and has a powerful canter. His dam has already produced a 1.50m and two 1.40m level showjumping horses. Sire Zirocco Blue was part of the Dutch jumping team with Jur Vrieling for many years and also breeds very well. Fifty offspring already jump at 1.60m level and higher, including the approved stallions Ever Blue, Florian, Gisborne VDL, Zucchero HV and Zaccorado Blue. Eddie Blue and Elysium, like Gisborne VDL, started at 1.70m level. Dam Wapitola (Clearway x Calando I) also gave Extasy (1.50m), Bernadette M&C (1.40m), and Kibo W (1.40m). Wapitola is a half-sister to seven 1.30m–1.50m horses, including Callaho Luther (1.50m with Tegan Bruyns, RSA) and Callaho Simone (1.40m with Jeanne Korber, RSA). This family includes the influential Capitol I and approved stallions such as Quite Capitol, Cevin and Lord Capitol. – Opaal Key SR makes some noise during training.
