Jumpers of the Future

We want you to be able to buy with confidence at Jumpers of the Future and of course we want you to be happy with your purchase. That is why we think it is important to auction healthy horses and to provide clear information about the auction horses and how the auction works.

Buying online is not something you do lightly, therefore we also like to show you who is behind the organization of Jumpers of the Future Auction.

For almost 15 years this trio has been organizing the young horse competition Vrijspringen Oirschot and, since a few years, Jumpers of the Future has been added to that. These three are well acquainted with setting something up, developing it further and improving it.

Willem van Hoof: His life and soul is breeding show jumpers. He is known as the breeder of the legendary Untouchable, who is a valuable asset to today’s breeding. Also the new future talent of Harrie Smolders, Escape Z, comes from Willem’s stables. He also has a good eye for talent and trading.

Koen Leemans: As an (inter)national jumping rider Koen knows as no other what a rider is looking for. From training young horses to successfully compete in international 1.50m-classes, nothing is strange to him. The top horse of Martin Fuchs’ Leone Jei, made the start of his jumping career under Koen. Besides teaching and guiding young talent, Koen is also involved in trading.

Judith Martens: The silent force behind this team is Judith Martens. She is no stranger to the horse industry, the world of (online) auctions, and marketing. After having worked several years for the KWPN and Anky van Grunsven, she started her own marketing company Markting by Martens. From there she is involved in the marketing of various auctions and international events such as CHIO Rotterdam and CSI Eindhoven.
